God's Unfailing Love

Daily Advent Devotions

Each year, the community of the San Francisco Theological Seminary comes together in a joyful, annual ministry — the daily devotions during the Advent and Lenten seasons. This year, Rev. Ruth T. West, our Associate Director of Advanced Pastoral Studies, has created a series of devotions based on "God's Unfailing Love." Each devotion has been written by a member of the SFTS community who has passed through our halls and is now out in the world, doing the work they have been called to do.

What seems to resonate throughout our previous themes in this Advent Devotions series is God’s unfailing love for us and Creation, ever-present in our longing and our listening; in anticipation of the blessing of a savior born among us, Immanuel, Jesus – Mary’s Baby.

We hold fast to our traditions, carrying them forward with us, embracing and honoring them as reminders of how God’s love has accompanied us throughout our life stories.

Won't you join us in this conversation?
